In this RWG course I’ll explain what mixolydian is and give you a way of quickly memorizing in any key, anywhere on the neck, based on the chords you are playing over.

We’ll explore how and when to use mixolydian across different musical genres such as classic rock, jam band, funk and the blues. By looking at examples of mixolydian phrasing specifically based on each dominant 7th chord shape, you’ll learn how to instantly create engaging melodic solos, across the fretboard and become the envy of your pentatonic pals.

We’ll also look at ways in which to use mixolydian so it doesn’t sound like you’re playing a scale.

Students can add comments or ask questions on each lesson video, which I will respond to. Chord/scale charts, example licks with notation/TAB and jam tracks are included.
